Selecting & purchasing whiteout contact lenses or any other lenses

Buying contact lenses is not like buying eyeglasses for reading. It is not so simple that you visit any departmental store & after trying a few glasses, decide the best one for you. Contact lenses are a medical tool, which needs to follow the prescribed process.

Visit a professional Eye Doctor

Seeing an Eye doctor is the first thing when you are thinking about using contact lenses. Contact lenses are available in many different varieties, such as designs, materials, and strengths. An ophthalmologist or optometrist can prescribe the right and fit contact lenses exactly for your eyes. No matter if you are looking to buy it from an online seller, you’ll still need to see an eye doctor first.

Where to buy contact lenses from?

Once you have an eye doctor prescription, you’re all ready to buy your contact lenses. However, where to buy them…? Would it be a good idea for you to purchase contact lenses online or at the eye specialist’s clinic? That is up to you. Buying them at your optometrist’s office may make things simpler since they know your requirements. You are also free to shop online. However, stick to reputable sources.

Who doesn’t want to save money, but do not look for cheap or doubtful online sites to buy your contact lenses? It is highly recommended not to save some money when you purchase contact lenses because nobody wants to risk the eyes’ health. Make sure your lenses are sterile and clean.

Sterilize is the most common contact lens problem. Are you taking all the safety measures to keep your contact lenses protected from bacteria and germs? Look at the container in which you are keeping your lenses. Suppose if your lens case is not dirt-free and germ-free, wash the lenses case carefully with water to make it spotless. After that, check the solution of the lenses. Make sure it is fresh and not too old. Change the chemical if it is too old. It is suggested that you do not store long age chemicals or solutions in contact lenses containers because it will affect your eyes & contact lenses. Follow the instructions carefully for your own benefit.

Do Not Over Wear Them

Eyes are the best gift from God, and they are windows to the soul.

Wearing contacts all the time is not a good habit and can create different eye infections. So it is better to use glasses in your daily routine.

While taking a shower or swimming, don’t wear your contact lenses.

Water can cause an organism known as acanthamoeba, which can probably become an eye infection source. Wearing lenses while showering, swimming, or doing any water-related activity can cause serious eyeinfections acanthamoeba.

Touching your contact Lenses with hands:

Before touching your lenses, the first thing you have to do is to wash your hand and dry with a lint-free towel because they can stick to your wet hands and catch some bacteria that live in water. Therefore it is highly recommended to dry your hand with a lint-free towel if you want to use any moisturizer. Use it later, but not before putting your lenses into your eyes.

Storing in Your Contact Lenses.

To take out lenses from the container, use your finger to slide the contact lenses out of the container and your palm. Rinse out with the solution recommended by the eye doctor. Spot the lenses on the tip of your pointer. Pull your lower lid down with the center finger of the same hand and hold your upper lid with your other hand. Spot the lenses sensibly on the iris of your eye. Delicately let off your covers, and blink.

Removing Your Contact Lenses

Initially, wash and dry your hands before taking out contact lenses. To remove delicate contact lenses, pull down your lower lid. Gaze upward or aside, and delicately move your contact lenses to the white of your eye. Using your thumb and forefinger, delicately squeeze the contact lenses and lift it off your eye. For gas-porous contact lenses, open your eyes wide and pull the skin close to your eye’s edge toward your ear. Twist around your open palm and blink. The contact lenses should jump out into your palm.

Cleaning and Storage of contact lenses

There are numerous approaches to clean contact lenses. A multipurpose solution allows you to clean, sanitize, flush, and store your contact lenses. A few companies have separate items for cleaning and washing. “No-rub” solution states that flushing alone will clean the contact lenses, yet research recommends that rubbing cleans better. With the hydrogen peroxide solution, you put your contact lenses in a container that goes in a solution cup. Never use this answer to wash your contact lenses. Moreover, hydrogen peroxide solution will have a red top, which implies never put it straightforwardly into your eyes.

End Note

The worst thing is getting eye infections. If you get them once, it will be really awful as well as painful for you. Preferably you would not want to experience similar torture while wearing whiteout or any other contact lenses, do you? So, take all safety precautions before purchasing and always try to avoid an infected eye.
